UX: Interaction Designer

We are looking for an Interaction Designer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for crafting intuitive, emotionally resonant user experiences that transform complex interactions into meaningful moments. You will work in a close-knit team that spans engineering, UX, cognitive science, design, and operations, in our shared mission to invent, implement, and deliver the most significant user interface changes in a generation.

Qualifications:

• Design and develop intuitive interaction patterns that balance functionality with emotional engagement

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional micro-interactions and user flow design

• Experience in creating and testing interactive prototypes to validate design decisions

• Expertise in translating user needs into delightful interaction models

• Strong understanding of human behavior and cognitive psychology principles

• Ability to design system-wide interaction patterns and maintain consistency

• Experience with motion design and animation principles

• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools

• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate across teams

• Experience working in a professional team of software engineers, and the tools and best practices for code, collaboration, and deployment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; pixel level perfection is core to what we do.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.

• Desire to stay informed about emerging trends and technologies, continuously enhancing your skills and the team's capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in cognitive science, psychology, or human-computer interaction

• Experience with gesture-based and natural user interfaces

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles

• Familiarity with front-end technologies to better collaborate with developers

• Track record of measuring and improving interaction success metrics

• Experience designing for multiple platforms (mobile, desktop, tablet)

• Understanding of emerging technologies and their interaction implications

• Background in user research and usability testing
